Eyes Closed, the duet between the Blackpink singer and former One Direction member, is accompanied by a space-set music video, shot on location at a legendary modernist landmark.
South Korean superstar Jisoo dropped her new duet with British popstar Zayn Malik. For Eyes Closed, The Blackpink superstar and the former Direction member explore the theme of new love.
In the video, they find themselves in a spaceship, heading to Saturn. After being awaken from (supposedly) hibernation, both artists are pretty confident that they should fall in love with their eyes closed, not thinking about previous relations, beds, names and faces. But the most interesting thing about the video is not the story, but the location, where Eyes Closed was shot almost entirely.
Wearing the limited edition Moon Rovers boots in black, Jisoo strolls through the TWA hotel at New York’s JFK airport – the iconic former airport terminal, designed by architect Eero Saarinen, completed in 1962 and considered one the greatest examples of modernist architecture in America.
The interior and the exterior of the head house became New York City designated landmarks in 1994 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
This is not the first time that Blackpink has been spotted sporting DEMOBAZA while on duty. The K-Pop megastars wore assorted pieces from the Spring-Summer 2022 collection for their video Pink Venom, where Jisoo is clad in head-to-toe DEMOBAZA avant apocalypse uniform.
The Moon Rovers boots are available here. DEMOBAZA FW25 Kinetics collection is available online and in stores.
