DEMOBAZA opens first international flagship store in Dubai

Located in Dubai’s City Walk area, DEMOBAZA’s first Middle East flagship is designed by Svetoslav Todorov (Studio Mode) The first foreign outpost of the Bulgarian brand follows its showroom in Sofia and establishes the international appeal of DEMOBAZA’s aesthetics and deconstructed uniform – a refined combination of post-socialist spirit, post-apocalyptic costume and extraordinary futuristic dreams, together with intentional unwariness to details.

After selling their collections online and at various multibrand retailers like Luisa Via Roma, DEMOBAZA opens its first international flagship store in Dubai.

The first foreign outpost of the Bulgarian brand follows its showroom in Sofia and establishes the international appeal of DEMOBAZA’s aesthetics and deconstructed uniform – a refined combination of post-socialist spirit, post-apocalyptic costume and extraordinary futuristic dreams, together with intentional unwariness to details.

Working with their local partners from Unique Vision, DEMOBAZA flagship store is located in the City Walk area and offers the complete range of clothes and accessories from the current menswear and womenswear collections, along with the special collaboration the brand has worked on recently.

Working closely with Studio Mode’s award-winning architect and interior designer Svetoslav Todorov, DEMOBAZA envisioned their store for maximum aesthetic impact, while located at a street corner. The most striking feature of the exterior facade is the bright decoration, which is in contrast to the monochrome interior.

Following the principles and specific spirit of raw concrete and brutalism, the store’s concrete surface wraps the space into something like an isolated and Spartan, but nevertheless inviting atmosphere. A partition wall divides the space into two otherwise connected zones.

Another striking feature is the t-shaped concrete bench that corresponds well with the high ceilings and the giant LED screen, used for displaying all the current video films for DEMOBAZA’s latest collections. The mirror surface along the wall reaches the ceiling, creating a delusive reflection
